Designed by the architects Elisabeth Mercier and Philippe Bona in a former warehouse in eastern Paris, his creative space reflects his process and his passion for architecture.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>Since the late 1980s, the French artist (born 1963) has been developing an approach that encompasses multiple forms \u2013 sculpture, painting, environments, performance, video, photography \u2013 combining formal classicism with high technology. His works challenge our perception, cultivating Veilhan\u2019s interest in the movement of viewers through spaces, often evolutive, in which they play an active role, as in the exhibition Veilhan Versailles (2009), the Architectones series (2012-2014) and Studio Venezia (2017) for the French Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.&#13;\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Xavier Veilhan conceived his studio as a multifunctional platform for promoting dialogue among disciplines.
